Christ Nagar English Hr Sec School has consistently maintained an outstanding record in academic and co-curricular achievements. The SSLC results of March 2002-2003 were creditable enough to keep the students and staff alert. Of the 206 students that appeared for the SSLC Examination, 108 passed with distinction, 97 with first class and 1 with second class. Kumary Sreelakshmy scored 574/600 placing her in the 15th rank of the state in the SSLC examination. In short, Christ Nagar English Higher Secondary School was blessed with one rank holder in the top 15 positions in the state and yet again it maintained its top position among the best schools in Kerala.
Kumary Sreelakshmy won the Gold Medal for Excellence instituted by JOSCO fashion jewelers. The Gold Medal was presented by Mr. James Abraham, Manager, JOSCO.
At the State Level Youth Festival 2002-'03, Christ Nagar English Higher Secondary School created history with hattric by bagging the first prize in Orchestra for the third consecutive time. The School was represented by Athira L, Aravind S L, Joshy Mathew K, Sreejith Babu, Fayaz Mohammed Fazil, Anand V S, and Jyothis Jacob Panicker. Balasree Award winner Athira L of Std 10 C brought home the coveted prizes in the Instrumental Music (String Section) by winning the first Prize in Violin (Eastern) and second prize in Violin (Western). She has also represented India in the International Festival of Music held in Russia.
